1) Purpose

The purpose of this SOP is to establish a comprehensive response plan for managing pandemic outbreaks in manufacturing sites to ensure the safety of employees, maintain operational continuity, and comply with public health regulations.

2) Scope

This SOP applies to all employees, contractors, and visitors at the manufacturing site and includes preventive, mitigation, and response strategies during pandemic situations.

3) Responsibilities

  • Management Team: Develop and oversee the implementation of the pandemic response plan.
  • Supervisors: Ensure compliance with health and safety measures in their respective departments.
  • Safety Officers: Monitor health protocols, provide updates on public health guidelines, and ensure availability of necessary resources.
  • Employees: Adhere to health and safety protocols, report symptoms promptly, and participate in preventive measures.
