Standard Operating Procedure for Pest Control in Aerosol Production Area

1) Purpose

The purpose of this SOP is to establish procedures for preventing and controlling pests in the aerosol production area. Effective pest control measures ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and protect the integrity of aerosol products.

2) Scope

This SOP applies to all areas of aerosol production facilities at [Company Name], including production rooms, storage areas, and surrounding premises.

3) Responsibilities

Facilities Manager: Oversee pest control activities and ensure compliance with procedures.
Pest Control Contractor: Perform regular inspections, treatments, and monitoring for pest prevention.
Quality Assurance (QA) Manager: Ensure that pest control measures comply with regulatory requirements and do not impact product quality.
All Personnel: Report any signs of pests or conditions conducive to pest infestation.

4) Procedure

4.1 Pest Identification and Risk Assessment:

and corrective actions.
4.2.2 Use a combination of physical controls, sanitation practices, and chemical treatments as part of the IPM strategy.
