1) Purpose

The purpose of this SOP is to provide a structured framework for planning, organizing, and executing safety awareness campaigns to educate employees about workplace safety, reduce incidents, and promote a culture of safety.

2) Scope

This SOP applies to all departments and employees involved in or affected by safety awareness campaigns, including contractors and temporary staff.

3) Responsibilities

  • EHS Manager: Oversee campaign planning and execution to ensure alignment with organizational safety objectives.
  • Campaign Coordinator: Organize campaign activities, liaise with departments, and track campaign effectiveness.
  • Supervisors: Support campaign efforts by encouraging employee participation and providing necessary resources.
  • Employees: Actively participate in safety awareness campaigns and apply knowledge gained in daily operations.

4) Procedure

4.1 Planning the Campaign

  1. Identify Campaign Objectives:
    • Determine specific goals, such as reducing workplace accidents, improving hazard reporting, or promoting PPE usage.
